People always want to know how
the Strange Bird logo and name came about. A sail
on a boat acts as a lifting surface or wing that causes
airflow to drive the boat forward. The keel of the
boat in the water is also a lifting surface or wing that
causes water flow that keeps the boat moving forward rather
than sliding sideways. Like a bird a sailboat has
two wings to help it fly. However unlike the bird
the boat needs each of its wings to fly in a different medium.
It seems to me that can make for a very Strange Bird.
